Hikaru Kira (来良煜 Kira Hikaru) is a former Inspector within Division 01 of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Public Safety Bureau who is currently a patient at a rehabilitation center.[1]
Appearance[]
Kira is a male of average height and gaunt appearance who appears to be in his 30's. He has dark-irised eyes and shaggy brown hair. He is usually featured in a blue hospital gown.[1]
Personality[]
He used to have a bright and friendly personality, but becomes depressed and guilt-ridden after the automobile accident that takes the life of his partner, Fuse.
Personal Background[]
- After meeting Koichi Azusawa, he and his partner Fuse are involved in an automobile accident. Fuse dies and Kira's hue begins to darken until he becomes institutionalized at the Tokorozawa Correction and Care Center.[1]
- In December 2120, Kira warns Kei Mikhail Ignatov to be watchful of an organization full of "foxes".[1]

Fuse is Kira's partner as well as his fellow inspector in Division 01. They are implied to be close as Kira took Fuse's death hard after the accident.
