Kazumichi Irie (入江一途 Irie Kazumichi) is an Enforcer within Division 01 of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Public Safety Bureau.
Appearance[]
Irie is a male of taller than average height and a muscular build who is in his 30's. He has dark brown eyes, short dark brown hair and a goatee. He is typically seen wearing a black suit with the jacket unbuttoned, white dress shirt, and black tie pulled loose from the collar. When on a mission, he wears a brown "bomber" jacket in cold weather.
Personality[]
He is a jovial individual who enjoys joking around, having fun and causing trouble. He cares deeply for the inhabitants living in the abandoned zone of Myogadani, and one of his motivations for becoming an Enforcer is to protect them. On the other hand, he has good instincts as an Enforcer and can make a show of being tough, as seen when he crushes a cigar in the palm of his hand when his team first meets Haruki Enomiya.[1]
Personal Background[]
- He grows up in the abandoned zone of Myogadani, thus he is knowledgeable about such areas, their inhabitants and their criminal elements.
- During this time, he works for Haruki Enomiya until he starts sharing the Abandoned Zones' information network with Akane Tsunemori.
- He is later recruited by Mika Shimotsuki to become an Enforcer.

Arata Shindo[]
At first, Irie does not get along with Shindo, but they eventually become friends as they learn about one another's pasts.
Kei Mikhail Ignatov[]
At first, Irie does not get along with Ignatov. He antagonizes the Inspector during their first case,[2] but eventually grows to respect him as they learn about one another's pasts.
Tenma Todoroki[]
Irie and Todoroki are friends and fellow Enforcers. They pull pranks together and generally get along well with each other.
Mao Kisaragi[]
Irie and Kisaragi are fellow Enforcers. They do not share a close relationship, despite Irie's attempts to make it so.
Mika Shimotsuki[]
Shimotsuki is the one who originally recruits Irie for the CID. Despite Shimotsuki's insistence that it is Akane Tsunemori's doing, Irie is nevertheless grateful towards her for saving him from gang life in Myogadani.
Akane Tsunemori[]
Tsunemori is the one who first contacts Irie and motivates him to change his life. He admires and trusts her enough to share the Abandoned Zone's information network with her.
Haruki Enomiya[]
Irie is a former employee and considered one of Enomiya's "sharpest men" during that tenure.[1]
Oishi[]
Irie and Oishi have known each other for a long time. They used to work for Enomiya together, but now share a strained relationship due to Irie's status as an Enforcer.[1]

- According to the Sibyl System's Compatibility scale, he has an A+ rating with Sho Hinakawa, a D- rating with Mao Kisaragi and a D- rating with Arata Shindo (cf file 1, file 2 and file 3).[3]
