Motohiro Nisei is the original founder of Heaven's Leap.
Appearance[]
Nisei is a male of indeterminate height and build who appears to be in his 70's, though his gaunt sickly condition may make him appear older than he is. He is typically seen with eyes closed and a bald pate wearing Heaven's Leap's yellow-and-white robes with a white hat. He wears an encased pocket watch around his neck at all times.

As his character is never conscious, it is unknown what his personality is like.
Personal Background[]
- At some point in the past, Nisei established Heaven's Leap.
- In June 2120, he enters a six-month meditative trance from which he has yet to awaken. It is later revealed that he suffers from Eustress Deficiency.

Torri S. Aschenbach[]
Aschenbach is Nisei's second-in-command, acting as the group's representative leader while Nisei is "meditating."
Theresa Shinogi[]
Shinogi is an old friend of Nisei's, as he supports her when she establishes the Council of the Right Path (CRP).
Trivia[]
- He owns a pocket watch embedded with a chip and the words "Aut viam inveniam aut faciam (I shall either find a way or make one)" inscribed in it. This phrase is attributed to Hannibal Barca when his generals told him it was impossible to cross the Alps by elephant. It is a memento from a refugee protection group.
