Nobuaki Kudama is an agricultural specialist who created the Hyper-oats and developed the Uka-no-Mitama Defense Virus.

Kudama is a male of average height and above-average weight in his 80's. He has gray eyes, a bald pate and broad features. Due to 22nd century medical technology, he looks much younger than his actual years reflect.

He is somewhat bitter over the fact that despite being a brilliant scientist who developed the Hyper-oats and Uta-no-Mitama Virus, he remains an unsung, unrecognized national hero.
