Shambala Float (シャンバラフロート Shanbara Furooto) is the prime location for Psycho-Pass: The Movie. In 2116, Shambala is the capital of the Southeast Asia Union (SEAUn [シーアン Shiion] /'ʃi:on/). It is unknown if it's still the case. It is a heavily militarized place which is divided into two societal groups: privileged citizens who are blessed with clean Hues and latent criminals who are treated like slaves and required by law to wear Psycho-Pass collars, which constantly monitors their Crime Coefficient.
In 2116, Inspector Akane Tsunemori travels to Shambala to investigate a link to the whereabouts of her missing colleague, per the request of Bureau Chief Joshu Kasei.
